In order to foster communication and interchange in project management, the University of Dallas and True Solutions Inc. has initiated the Project Management Lunch Series. Each contributor must be a PMP certified Project Manager or a PGmP certified Program Manager. Each presentation should be planned for one hour and should be on a current, important or unique project management subject. Specialized project management subjects are acceptable and encouraged.
*We are seeking a contributor who will develop, participate in and facilitate a panel discussion of 4 or more contributors for a 1.5 hour discussion of a project management subject for our July 2007 lunch date.
Contributors can earn valuable Professional Development Units for creating and presenting a formal presentation on project management. Contributors may earn up to 20 PDU’s for contributing. Category 2C allows the PMP to claim 10 PDU’s for speaking at a formal course or workshop on project management. Category 2G allows the PMP to claim 10 PDU’s for developing content for a structured learning program on project or program management.
Each contributor also gets the opportunity to talk about their views or specialties in project management and the opportunity to interact with their peers. Peer recognition is also a benefit from being a presenter.
