    PMP Exam Tips, Tricks and Lessons Learnt. I completed my PMP on the first attemp by using True Solutions Inc. (TSI) study material.

    I set a date and choose the TSI Online self study and free lunch time video lecture series - this was my sole study material. I studied 7 days (4 days on Online prep program, 1.5 days on video lunchtime lecture series, and 1.5 days taking practice exams)

    • Thursday & Friday: Online & video series
    • Saturday: Lunch time video series
    • Sunday: Took 100 Question Practice
    • Monday: 12:30 pm took 200 Question Practice (did a complete dry run of the test day)
    • Tuesday: 8am took 50 Question practice
    • Tuesday: Tested 12:30pm

    Passed on the first attempt.

    ***For those who are SERIOUS about getting their PMP certification***

    I found this study kit to be INDISPENSABLE in my pursuit of obtaining a PMP certification. The presentation of the material follows a logic completely different from that of the PMBOK: The study guide is arranged to follow the "flow" of the project from initiation through closing (the PMBOK is arranged by knowledge areas). There is also a set of Rapid Review modules at the back of the study guide to help one "cram" for the exam. The posters are a must for anyone who is serious about passing the certification test because they arrange all of the information into logical "modules" that can be referenced with ease.

    I found the CDs that were included to be especially helpful because I cannot always sit and study as I would like. The audio presentation made review a snap! (The packet includes DVDs as well, but I haven't used those, so cannot comment on their usefulness.)
