Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Work with our client’s business users to gather and document business requirements.
• Record and manage requirements, with key focus on gathering business requirements from the User community.
• Capturing As Is workflows, developing To Be workflows.
• Writing and verifying Functional Specifications , Technical Specifications and Use Cases.
• Work closely with project team in developing and documenting system requirements and design. Participate in walk-thru of systems documentation with business user. Document and perform system testing, performs analysis of testing issues, communicate issues to technical team, and assist in user acceptance, integration and operation testing.
• Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.
• Participate in full life cycle of a project, which includes identification of requirements, design, development, testing and implementation.
• Ensure the project is completed on schedule and meets customer expectations. Act as liaison between business area and technical team to ensure all parties have complete understanding of project scope and requirements.

Demonstrated Skills and Knowledge:

• Experience writing functional/technical specifications, use cases, test scripts and process flows.
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements.
• Excellent Communication skills, presentation skills and authoring skills
• Experience Working with Visio.
• Strong analytical skills and interpersonal skills with a relationship building personality.
• Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
• Knowledge and understanding of business research principles, processes, and techniques.
• Knowledge of the principles of strategic business decision-making.
• 2-7 years of IT experience.
• 2-7 years working in a Business Analyst role.
• Object Oriented Methodologies, Use Case Modeling, Visio, Adobe Photo Shop a plus but not required.
