CPM certification
IAPPM administers a globally accepted and recognized, rigorous, examination-based, professional certification program of the highest caliber. The Certified Project Manager (CPM) program track provides a generalized project education at the graduate level, covering essential subject matter useful to practitioners. The CPM program is specifically designed to:
- Complement existing specialty certifications (PMP, CBM, MBA, etc)
- Validate a business professional’s practical project experience and knowledge
- Serve as an efficient preparatory tool for future career progression and advancement.
The CPM Program takes a comprehensive business curriculum and presents it in a certification format, teaching and measuring the skills and knowledge required to become a successful manager in the global business community. The CPM designation following your name tells current and potential employers that you have a solid foundation of project management knowledge that can be readily applied in the workplace.
At the core of the CPM certification is the CPM Exam. The one-part, three hour exam is based on a comprehensive and practical business curriculum that addresses the core and fundamentals of “project 101” (i.e. Project Communications, Finance, Integration, Information Technology, Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Risk and Issue Management, Quality Management).
The CPM Exam syllabus, the study materials, and the continuing education program are revised regularly to reflect the ever-changing face of the global business economy.
