Wes Balakian, PMP, Chief Executive Officer of True Solutions Inc. (TSI) has been selected to speak at the 2008 PMI Leadership Institute Meeting - Latin America. The event will be held August 8^th through the 10^th at the Grand Hyatt, Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Mr. Balakian, part of the PMI® Component Mentor Program Member Advisory Group, is scheduled to present the first in a series of three interactive workshops entitled, Power of the Profession, on August 8^th. This session will familiarize leaders with the Strategic Alignment Scorecard. Facilitated by the Component Mentor Program Member Advisory Group (CMP MAG) and PMI staff, this workshop will allow attendees to work with their Component Mentor and other volunteer leaders to apply examples from a case study to the Strategic Alignment Scorecard. Upon conclusion of this workshop, attendees will have nearly completed the Strategic Alignment Scorecard, and will gain an understanding of how strategic alignment relates to the Multi-Year Business Plan, Performance Management Framework, and Component Services Toolkit.

In his 20 years in project/program management, prior to founding TSI, he delivered training and consulting services to organizations throughout the world, such as - EDS, Verizon, MCI, JP Morgan, and TI. Under his leadership, TSI pioneered project management training delivery through worldwide podcasts with its "Lunchtime Lecture Series."
