University of Texas Training Showcase in Houston, Texas

February 9, 2009 --- Wes Balakian, PMP, Chief Executive Officer of True Solutions Inc. (TSI) spoke at the 2009 University of Texas Training Showcase, February 17^th, 2009 at the Houstonian in Houston, Texas.

Mr. Balakian spoke on the topic of Global Project Management - What you need to know to deliver projects in a global environment? This session familiarized leaders on why global projects are initiated, the factors to consider in such projects, challenges and opportunities facing global project teams today, differences, attributes, and skill sets found specifically in the global project management environment. Facilitated by the University of Texas Continuing Education Professional Development Center (UT PDC) this workshop allowed attendees to sample a mini-session of the organizations offerings. The exclusive guest list for the showcase event included executives from such recognized industry leaders as Chevron, Exxon Mobile, Caprock Communications, Sungard Energy Systems, Reliant Energy, Hines, and CB Richard Ellis - just to name a few.

In his 20 years in project/program management, prior to founding TSI, he delivered training and consulting services to organizations throughout the world, such as - EDS, Verizon, MCI, JP Morgan, and TI. Under his leadership, TSI pioneered project management training delivery through worldwide podcasts with its "Lunchtime Lecture Series." Mr. Balakian is a true project management evangelist, and has been instrumental in changing the way it is delivered, perceived, and globally received.
